When visiting any city one hates being classed as a tourist so each of our recommended properties come with a great information pack, an A-Z of the best local places to eat, drink and visit and it’s written by the owner of each property who know the area like the back of their hand and it offers advice on all the local attractions and distractions and if just in case there is something not covered we are here 24/7 to answer any questions or deal with any problems should they arise.
They bought a house comprising several apartments on one of the lovely Amsterdam canals and decided to invite guests to come to Escape as well for a few days.
In 2002 Giuseppe Urso joined the team and decided to expand the online business, within two years WorldEscape was launched along with many other city sites like RomeEscape, LondonEscape and others and they really were a real alternative to the overpriced hotels in each city they operated in.
WorldEscape gives everyone the chance to stay in a different way – Nothing like having somewhere like home to come back to after a day out sightseeing, shopping or if staying on business, a place to unwind after a busy day in the office.
You get to live a life just like a real local would, cook meals, do your washing, chill out on a comfy sofa, enjoy fast complimentary broadband and generally live the life and not like a tourist. You get the best of both worlds, nobody bothering you with early morning bang on the door “room service”.
The WorldEscape team have searched each city high and low for the best of the best places for our guests to stay in and have gotten together a collection of some quirky, cosy and wonderful places, everyone being different to one another but all offering fantastic levels of comfort.

Looking behind the scenes
We have made booking your chosen accommodation easy peasy, easier than booking the average hotel room and when already a WorldEscape member its so so simple and throughout the process you get the WorldEscape customer service.
Every accommodation offered on the WorldEscape sites are visited and inspected by the WorldEscape team. All are cleaned professionally before you arrive and after your checkout, we can arrange daily cleaning and mail service as well as other hotel-style amenities (small extra charge).
Once you have arrived and we have settled you into your accommodation should you have any questions or requests we’re on hand, 24/7 by phone or live help. If you're it’s something we can’t solve there and then, we’ll pop over to try to sort it out as best we can or get someone who can sort. It's all part of the WorldEscape customer service.
